SECTION 1 — GENERAL SERVICE POLICY

  • AB Resume Services & Consultation provides personalized, high‑value career development services including resume writing, cover letters, LinkedIn optimization, consultations, and custom add‑ons. All services are delivered with professionalism, confidentiality, and strategic expertise.

  • Because our work is customized and begins immediately, certain services are non‑refundable. Please review all policies carefully before booking.

SECTION 2 — WHY MOST SERVICES ARE NON‑REFUNDABLE

At ABRSC, our strategic investment begins the moment you purchase a service. This includes:

  • Reviewing your career history and goals

  • Conducting strategic analysis of your target roles

  • Allocating expert time from certified resume writers

  • Beginning the writing, formatting, and optimization process

  • Creating customized intellectual property that cannot be returned

 

Quality Guaranteed — Not Job Outcomes

  • We guarantee professionally written, ATS‑optimized, strategically tailored documents. However, we cannot guarantee interviews, job offers, or employer responses due to external factors.

 

Revision Process

  • Instead of refunds, we collaborate with you through the included revision rounds to ensure your documents meet the strategic goals established during intake.

SECTION 3 — NON‑REFUNDABLE SERVICES

The following services are non‑refundable once work has begun:

  • Resume writing

  • Cover letter writing

  • LinkedIn services

  • Add‑on services

  • Custom or POS‑based services

 

SECTION 4 — REFUND POLICY FOR PAID CONSULTATION APPOINTMENTS

  • Paid consultation appointments are the only service eligible for refunds.

  • Refund eligibility depends on when the appointment is canceled.

 

FULL REFUND

A full refund is issued when the client cancels within the required notice window:

  • Monday Appointments: Cancel before Friday at 12:00 PM (noon)

  • Wednesday–Friday Appointments: Cancel 48+ hours in advance

Clients may also choose to apply the full payment to a rescheduled appointment.

 

PARTIAL REFUND

  • If the client cancels less than 48 hours in advance, but before the appointment start time, a $27.50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund.

 

NO REFUND

No refund is issued when:

  • The client misses the appointment (no‑show)

  • The client cancels at or after the scheduled start time

SECTION 6 — BUSINESS DAY DEFINITION

For all scheduling, communication, and processing timelines:

  • Business days exclude weekends, all holidays, and any days when AB Resume Services & Consultation is not open for business.

SECTION 7 — CANCELLING NON‑CONSULTATION SERVICES

  • If you purchased a resume, cover letter, LinkedIn service, or package and wish to cancel before any strategic work has begun, contact us immediately.

  • If no work has started, ABRSC may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund. Once strategic analysis, writing, or preparation has begun, the non‑refundable policy is firm.

  • By booking a consultation or purchasing any service, the client acknowledges and agrees to all terms outlined in this Policies & Procedures document.

POS Custom Charge Percentages

Custom charges apply when work falls outside the scope of your package:

  • 10% — Minor add‑ons

  • 15% — Moderate customizations

  • 20–25% — High‑touch, urgent, or complex work

 

These percentages apply to the base package price or the value of the additional service because these services involve personalized, time intensive work.

 

SECTION 4 — REFUND POLICY FOR PAID CONSULTATION APPOINTMENTS
  • Paid consultation appointments are the only services eligible for refunds.
